This past weekend I went camping in Wisconsin, like in the DEEP WOODS. I'm pretty sure I heard a bear. Anyways, Patrick's family was incredibly surprised at how tough I was. I peed in an outhouse with gigantic spiders in it!

This semester sucks! I am taking a Senior Seminar class, and that would be all fine and dandy, but its also a Graduate seminar class (its cross-listed) and I AM THE ONLY UNDERGRADUATE. So, I have to do the work of a graduate student, he doesn't lighten the load for UG's. Thats bullshit. These cats only have one other class, and my ass has to read 19 million irrelevant journal articles from the 1980's while keeping up with 4 other classes. Plus I have to write a 30 page paper about god knows what and give an oral presentation.

In addition to all of this I have to study for the GRE's, get a writing sample ready to send in, write a personal statement, and hound professors for recommendations.

What do you guys think of the Oxford comma? I find that sometimes I use it and sometimes I don't.

Yesterday I met a little boy and he kept telling me about how Batman kills everyone. And I argued with him. I think thats a problem. This is why I am never having children.

I'm back home for a couple of days. Its pretty boring.

Ok guys. It is currently 54 degrees and its supposed to get up to 64 degrees! This makes me very happy.
I keep getting B's on everything that I turn in. I think this is what happens when an intelligent person is lazy - they become a B student. Anyhow... the one thing that I love about Champaign Urbana that I am going to dearly miss when I leave is Espresso Royale (I didn't know what good coffee tasted like before) and Cafe Kopi (goat cheese sandwiches and butternut squash bisque).

Why was I cursed with having to write a 5 page paper tonight? WHY? I just started and its 12 am. My entire life, I've been like this. Why am I like this? I had plenty of opportunities to begin it earlier, but I did not. I chose to watch a show about hamburgers last night, instead. The irony of this entry is that instead of writing my paper I am doing this! See! I have a problem.

God, college is exactly like 6th grade... except, instead of doing a science project at 7am (Which liquid freezes the fastest? or Which bread grows mold the quickest?) I am doing a stupid Russian history paper. I don't care about Hadji Murad!

Today it was 67 degrees in Champaign. It was the first day when one can go outside and feel an overwhelming sensation of pleasure. Quite hedonistic, indeed! Anyways, my pleasure was shorted when I had to go back inside and write two papers. Both, I have not finished yet. I am unable to concentrate.

Next semester, someone please remind me that I am never to take four literature classes in one semester. Thanks.

I have really bad gas right now. Its a problem.

I have not decided where I want to go yet. I really want to work with the turtles, but mexico seems too easy. Kenya seems too scary. Australia might be nice, although I am freaked out about all those crazy spiders they have there, however, I am pretty certain that Australia has the most diverse animal population, and therefore that would probably be most exciting.

My Zoology class is the best class I have ever taken. For real, though.
I held a snake today. She was very pretty. There is a really cool snapping turtle in my classroom and a couple of really cool tarantulas.

The snake looked like this:

She was very cute! Her little toungue was goin' like crazy!

I am learning about Cnidaria, now. Jellyfish, Hydras and Sea Anemones!
